Christiana de Blank
AWARD-WINNING DANCER / VISUAL ARTIST

Christiana de Blank is an internationally recognized ballet dancer and visual artist whose work transcends traditional boundaries between performance and visual art. Beginning ballet at the age of four, she discovered early on that movement could speak more profoundly than words. What began as a childhood fascination evolved into a lifelong devotion to artistic expression through motion. Her talent was soon acknowledged on the world stage—garnering a gold medal at the Asian Grand Prix International Ballet Competition and representing her nation at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland. Supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund, Christiana trained at The Royal Ballet School and Dutch National Ballet Academy before joining the Royal Swedish Ballet, where she danced professionally and developed a distinct voice across classical & contemporary repertoires.
A transformative artistic pilgrimage to Paris redefined her creative vision. Immersed in the city’s great museums, she was struck by the kinetic energy of visual art—the way still images seemed to breathe, vibrate, and move. From this revelation emerged a pioneering practice: choreography as painting in motion. Christiana now creates multidisciplinary works that translate dance into visual form, capturing the rhythm of movement as pigment, texture, and gesture on canvas. Each piece embodies both precision and spontaneity, blurring the line between ephemeral performance and enduring art object.
Her work invites viewers into a dialogue between body and canvas, time and permanence. Christiana’s art reflects a rare synthesis of physical discipline and emotional depth, resonating with collectors seeking innovation, authenticity, and poetic resonance. Through her ongoing exploration, she aspires not only to bridge the worlds of ballet and fine art, but to redefine how movement can be seen, felt, and preserved—as living expressions of beauty, grace, and human spirit.
